  • Other Abnormalities: Lung perfusion scans may also detect other lung conditions, such as areas of reduced perfusion due to lung disease or abnormalities in lung function.

  • Additional Testing: A lung perfusion scan is often performed in conjunction with other diagnostic tests, such as a computed tomography pulmonary angiogram (CTPA), to provide a more comprehensive evaluation.
