• Nested Urothelial Carcinoma is a rare subtype of invasive urothelial carcinoma (UCC), a form of malignancy of the urothelium (urothelial cells that line the urothelial tract). It is an aggressive form of invasive UCC

A diagnosis of the nested subtype is particularly challenging and difficult; it may be misdiagnosed as benign proliferation of von Brunn nests.
