  • Mixed Tumor of Vulva is a rare, benign tumor that occurs beneath the skin (subcutaneously) on the vulva. The cells of origin for the tumor is still under debate by the researchers
  • The condition is a slow-growing and usually solitary tumor that occurs as a painless nodule. It is often seen in middle-aged and older women
  • The cause and risk factors for Mixed Tumor of Vulva are largely unknown
  • In a majority of cases, no treatment in necessary, unless it causes worrisome symptoms or presents cosmetic concerns in the individual
