Dr. Rajendran Magesh MBBS, MRCP (UK), CCT (Int Med), CCT (Geriatrics), FRCP (Edin) is a consultant geriatrician currently working at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, India. He received MBBS degree from Madras Medical College. Subsequently, he underwent training in UK where he obtained MRCP. He gained experience as a specialist registrar in Geriatrics and as a consultant geriatrician in UK for several years. He also had additional training in Parkinsons Disease and Clinical Education from Newcastle University. Dr. Magesh was invited to numerous national and international conferences to lecture on multitude of geriatrics topics. He also presented research work on pathways of care for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in elderly, prevalence of comorbidity in COPD and anticoagulants in atrial fibrillation at several international venues. He is an active member of British Geriatric Society, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and Indian Academy of Geriatrics.

Dr. Magesh is a member of editorial board. He produced and edited several articles on topics related to Geriatrics.
