Kaelyn graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where she majored in Economics with a minor in Statistics. Kaelyn worked in the insurance industry for five years as a senior underwriter where she was responsible for managing a $16 M territory by analyzing the risk portfolio of accounts and forecasting potential profitability. During her time as an underwriter, she has also implemented more efficient work flow processes, identified new strategies to promote growth and profitability, as well as assisted in launching their California product where she then became a wildfire risk strategy expert. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Marketing and Strategic management. She aspires to continue to develop her business acumen to one day become an entrepreneur. Kaelyn is passionate about giving back to the community. She actively volunteers with OpenBooks in Chicago where she helps 2nd and 3rd graders feel more comfortable reading and hopefully spark their love for learning.

Kaelyn works in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer to develop innovative business strategies related to new products, marketing tactics and forming partnerships with other companies to increase the scope of DoveMed’s content and allow for a more interactive experience with users. Her role is to analyze market data and utilize this information to design business models and work processes to drive growth, profitability, and innovation. Kaelyn also facilitates in the implementation of these models and oversees that they are executed smoothly.

Kaelyn understands the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and staying informed on how our bodies function as well as the outside factors that may be impacting our health. She advocates DoveMed’s mission of connecting individuals with providers in their community with effective physician reviews while also spreading awareness of relevant medical conferences and providing credible information. As an individual’s lifestyle continues to change with new technologies, societal pressures, fast paced lives, and increased processed food options, DoveMed has changed the ease of accessing useful health-related resources and reviews. DoveMed continues to adapt its user interface by building new health-related tools to conform to our ever-changing society. Kaelyn is excited to see the new products, innovation, and resources that DoveMed will continue to develop to ensure a healthier lifestyle for all individuals.
