Biographical Information
Christopher Felicelli graduated with Highest Distinction in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2015. He worked in the microbiology laboratory of Dr. Richard Tapping studying the effects of Toll-like Receptor 10 on inflammation and cell differentiation. He was one of the founding members of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Student Chapter at UIUC, which focuses on getting undergraduate students interested in biomedical research. Beginning in the summer of 2015, Christopher will begin working at the National Institute of Health doing a Postbaccalaureate Fellowship in the Translational Genetics and Genomics Unit studying the molecular basis for rare autoinflammatory and autoimmune disorders.
