During this compassion meditation, there is a technique that helps to deal with difficult emotions, called the A-W-E technique.

A-W-E is an acronym that stands for Acknowledge, Welcome, and Empathize. The technique was inspired by her time working in Psychiatry, studying Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, and completing her RYT 200 Yoga Teacher Training.
