Dr. Rob Klein, MD, FCAP is a board-certified Anatomic and Clinical pathologist at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He actively signs out surgical pathology and cytology cases for the University of Arizona Healthcare Network. He is also medical director of the University of Arizona Medical Center -- South Campus, a College of American Pathology accredited hospital laboratory. His research interests include endocrine and gynecologic pathology, cancer biology, informatics, and data analysis. He actively teaches medical students and pathology residents at the University of Arizona, where he is an Assistant Professor of Pathology. He has published multiple peer reviewed articles in medical journals across a wide range of topics. Dr. Klein obtained his MD from the University of Utah, completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Arizona, and completed a Cancer Research and Bioinformatics Fellowship at the Arizona Cancer Center.

Dr Klein creates and reviews healthcare content for DoveMed, and is on the DoveMed medical editorial board.

Dr Klein believes that people everywhere need access to high quality information about healthcare. That information can and should be easy for the average person to read and to understand, yet remain accurate and relevant.
