Meera Atkins MD FACOG is a board certified OB/GYN who specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She completed her undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees in an accelerated program through Northeastern Ohio Medical University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois – Chicago where she had the honor of serving as the Administrative Chief Resident. Meera is passionate about improving the health and lives of others – whether it is through innovative care models or the introduction of new medical devices. She serves on the advisory board of HealthyTxt and DoveMed. A lifelong learner, Meera is completing her MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Dr. Atkins creates and reviews healthcare content relevant to Women’s Health by DoveMed medical staff and DoveMed medical editorial board.

Dr. Atkins believes that to truly achieve better health, a partnership between patient and providers is an essential.
