Dr. Labayog is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist. He has been practicing clinical medicine in central Illinois for almost 20 years. He has been medical director of a prestigious regional cancer center since 1997, with special interest in breast, colon, lung cancer and topics of risk reduction and early detection. Dr. Labayog has been involved with a number of clinical trial with the University of Illinois and Indiana University Medical Center. Dr Labayog received his medical training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Oncology and Hematolgy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Cancer Liaison Program Physician for the Commission on Cancer, and an active participant with the American Cancer Society. Dr Labayog is highly respected by his peers, and is a compassionate physician who believes that quality of life and the dignity of the human spirit are foremost in the care of a patient.
