Jeffrey obtained his BSEE and MSEE from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and is a technical consulting expert to the patent bar and industry. He has over 20 years of experience, and he has been involved in all facets of patent law including but not limited to: prosecution, enforcement, litigation, infringement analysis, validity analysis and licensing consulting. Throughout his professional career as an electrical engineer, he has worked in many diverse areas such as control systems, power systems, aerospace, telecommunications, digital signal processing (DSP), the internet and networking structures, and VLSI circuit design and testing. He also has extensive background in mechanical systems, in system packaging and manufacture and software design and development. He is currently an active member of IEEE, as well as several other engineering honor societies.

Jeffrey Konicek brings his expertise to the DoveMed team through consulting regarding intellectual property matters. He will provide guidance in this area as it concerns agreements between any partner organizations and drafts of legal documents that are essential to the success of DoveMed’s intellectual property. He also is responsible for providing consulting to the DoveMed team regarding intellectual property to protect DoveMed’s technology and content and to help prevent the unlawful use of the original works posted on our site.
